Orientation
This orientation will provide you with an overview of SSV’s programs and policies. It will also help you to determine the best way to partner with us. Please download the file to review the orientation handbook, and when you are done, please submit the certification form below in order to receive instructions regarding the next step in the assignment process.
Volunteer Certification and Acknowledgement
By entering your name below and clicking submit, you certify that you have reviewed the Volunteer Orientation Handbook in full. This action also serves as your electronic signature on the Volunteer Acknowledgment form, confirming that you:
- Have reviewed and agree to abide by SSV and SPS policies and expectations.
- Understand that, as a volunteer, you are not permitted to be left in charge of a class or group of students alone.
- Acknowledge that you are not authorized through SSV to exchange contact information with, accept social media requests from, or otherwise communicate with students outside of SSV-sanctioned activities.
- Understand that you are not authorized through SSV to transport students.
- Acknowledge that SSV reserves the right to terminate any volunteer assignment at any time.
- Have reviewed and agree to the terms outlined in the Waiver of Liability included in the Volunteer Orientation Handbook.
Your certification and acknowledgment are required to begin your volunteer assignment.
