If you are unable to attend an in-person training session, you may complete this self-guided training to fulfill SSV’s mandatory initial training requirement.

This training will provide you with a strong foundation for your mentoring experience, including what to expect, how to build a positive relationship with your student, and the role you play as an SSV mentor. While this training is designed to get you started, SSV will continue to offer additional trainings, resources, and opportunities to connect with fellow mentors and SSV staff throughout the school year.
